Food Flair I: Our International Flavors
Being someone who doesn't cook for the most part of her life, as well as being a vegetarian for 17 years converted to be a semi-vegetarian (to include seafood in her diet), I was committed to learning how to cook with the promise to my husband that I will learn to make one new dish every week. So began my adventure in cooking in the small kitchen of our two-bedroom apartments in Dallas, Texas.
And the results are these dishes featured in this video which include all images captured by my phone's camera. These are the dishes made in the first year of our marriage. Some dishes in my opinion, such as those sushi rolls and stir fry items are not presentable. And some in terms of presentation are even more so not presentable. But what I cherish most in documenting these dishes is my commitment to learning something new and keeping my promise to my spouse.
